Kearney, Nebraska

The Museum of Nebraska Art houses the state's only collection of paintings, sculptures, drawings, and prints created solely by Nebraskans or artists concerned with Nebraska as the subject. Enjoy quality invitational and traveling exhibits as well as creative exhibits of the museum's growing permanent collection in the Rohman, the Cope, the East, and other main floor galleries amid the rich bronze details and highly polished marble of its gracious renaissance revival museum building.

The Museum collections reveal the range of Nebraska art history from the Artist-Explorers through the Pioneers, the First Nebraskans, and the Contemporary Scene. Major strengths are in the works of George Carlin, Robert Henri, and Thomas Hart Benton. The Grant Reynard Collection comprises the largest single holding of the Museum and completely documents the career of this outstanding Nebraska native.

The Museum gift shop features a diverse collection of original art and unique gifts from Nebraska artists.
